Hello, my name is Calli Perez. I was born and raised in Long Beach, California, but I moved up to San Jose for school in the fall of 2007. I live in a cute apartment with four of my best friends near campus and I am very much enjoying my college lifestyle. However, I miss the beach and my family.
I am actually pretty excited about taking Journalism 61 since it will be my first class that is involved with my major. Hopefully I will gain some practice as well as a better perspective about journalism. I have always been interested in writing for a magazine, preferrably one involving art or fashion, but I am open to all forms of journalism.
